Opening:
Let me start with a question: What is the most valuable asset you own?
Is it your business? Your investments? Your network?
No….It’s time!
Because everything else — your income, your relationships, your reputation — is built inside the container of time.
Jim Rohn said it clearly:
“You can get more money, but you cannot get more time.”
And every single person in this room got the exact same deposit this morning:
24 hours.
“Every day is a bank account. Time is our currency. No one is rich, no one is poor — we all get 24 hours.” — John Maxwell
The only difference between high performers and everyone else is how they invest it.
- Your Calendar Is a Confession
If I looked at your calendar for the last 30 days, I could tell you exactly what you value.
Not what you say matters.
What you actually give time to.
Stephen Covey said,
“The key is not to prioritize what’s on your schedule, but to schedule your priorities.”
So let me ask you:
Are you building your business by design…
Or reacting to it by default?
Because reacting consumes time.
Designing multiplies it.
High achievers don’t “find” time.
They allocate it with intention.
- You Don’t Manage Time — You Manage Yourself
Brian Tracy says,
“You cannot manage time. You can only manage yourself.”
Time does not slow down.
It does not negotiate.
It does not wait for motivation.
The question is not, “Do I have time?”
The question is, “Is this worthy of my time?”
Warren Buffett said the difference between successful and very successful people is that very successful people say “no” to almost everything.
Every YES costs you something.
Every meeting…Every distraction…Every scroll…Every low-value task.
Time leakage is profit leakage….And in business — that’s expensive.
- Time Compounds — For You or Against You
Time is not neutral…It’s compounding!
John Maxwell says,
“You will never change your life until you change something you do daily.”
One call a day compounds.
One follow-up a day compounds.
One system improvement per week compounds.
One new relationship per week compounds.
And here’s the hard truth:
So does procrastination…So does inconsistency…So does avoidance.
The question is not whether time is compounding.
It’s what it’s compounding into.
Results… or regret.
- Networking Is a Time Multiplier
This room is not about transactions…It’s about leverage.
Tony Robbins talks about leverage as the force that multiplies results.
The fastest way to multiply time is through people.
Strategic referrals…Strategic introductions…Strategic alliances.
One strong relationship can collapse years of effort into months.
That’s not luck…That’s intentional investment of time into people.
If you nurture your network consistently, time accelerates your business.
If you neglect it, time works against you!
- A Direct Challenge
So here’s my challenge to everyone in this room this week:
- Identify your highest-dollar activity.
The one thing that truly grows your business.
Protect time for it like it’s oxygen. - Eliminate one low-value habit.
One distraction.
One commitment that drains energy without producing return. - Deepen one key relationship intentionally.
Make the call.
Send the follow-up.
Make the introduction.
Because you cannot save time…You can only invest it!
And like any investment, it either grows your future — or erodes it quietly.
In Closing:
The bad news?…Time flies.
The good news?…You’re the pilot.
So fly with intention!
Invest with discipline!
And build something today that your future self will thank you for!
