Your Best Possible Outcome!…“Your Brain Is Always Listening”
Let me start with a quick question.
How many of you have ever bought a new car…
and suddenly you start seeing that same car everywhere?
You never noticed it before.
But now… it’s on every street… every parking lot… every intersection.
Did the world suddenly buy the same car as you?
No.
Your brain simply tuned into it.
There’s a part of your brain called the Reticular Activating System.
It acts like a filter for your reality.
Every second your brain is receiving millions of pieces of information…
But your RAS decides:
What you notice.
What you ignore.
What becomes your reality.
And here’s the important part:
Your brain looks for whatever you tell it is important.
Which means every morning when we wake up, we are actually programming our brain.
If the first thoughts in your mind are:
“I’m stressed.”
“Today is going to be hard.”
“Everything is going wrong.”
Your brain goes to work immediately trying to prove you right.
But if you start the day with a different question…
Your brain searches for a different answer.
As Tony Robbins says:
“The quality of your life is determined by the quality of the questions you ask yourself.”
Tony teaches a powerful 10-minute priming exercise every morning.
One of the most powerful parts of that exercise is gratitude.
Because something fascinating happens in the brain:
You cannot feel anger or fear and gratitude at the same time.
They activate completely different emotional states.
So when you start your day with gratitude, you literally shift your brain chemistry and your focus.
Instead of scanning the world for problems…your brain starts scanning the world for possibilities.
And that’s where opportunity lives.
Another great insight comes from leadership expert John C. Maxwell, who said:
“You cannot change your destination overnight, but you can change your direction overnight.”
And direction starts with focus.
So let me give you a simple tool you can use every morning.
Before the day takes over…Ask yourself three questions.
What is the best possible outcome for today? Write it down!
Who could I help? Who do I need to call for a sales meeting?
What opportunity could I create?
Then ask:
What is the best possible outcome for this week?
What progress could I make? In your field of business…what do you want to collect? How many sales calls can you close?
And finally ask:
What is the best possible outcome for my life?
Because the questions we ask ourselves shape the direction of our lives.
So instead of asking: “Why is this happening to me?”
Ask: “What opportunity is hiding here?”
Instead of asking: “What could go wrong?”
Ask: “What is the best possible outcome?”
Because the moment you focus on a clear outcome…
your brain starts working like a GPS system.
It begins noticing: Opportunities…Ideas…Connections…People.
That were already around you…
You just weren’t tuned into them yet.
So here’s my challenge for everyone this next week:
Before the day gets busy…
Take 60 seconds or 10 minutes in the morning.
Ask yourself one simple question:
What is the best possible outcome I can create today?
Focus on that…Visualize that…Move toward that.
Because when you change your focus…
you change what your brain sees.
And when you change what your brain sees…
you change the results you create in your life.
Because remember:
“Where Focus Goes, Energy Flows.”~ Tony Robbins
